2013 Summit Toastmasters International Speech & Table Topics Contests!

It is that time of the year again when we start looking to push ourselves to new summits in our speaking…

Summit Toastmasters will be hosting their club International Speech and Table Topics Contests to challenge it’s members, but to also select representatives to represent Summit County in the Area F1 Contests in April.

So when is the momentous event?

Date: Tuesday, March 5, 2013

Time: 6:00 pm Contestant briefings

              6:30 pm Contests begin!

Location: Frisco Town Hall, 1 Main Street

Come out to cheer on these members as they work their magic to inspire and motivate us to new greatness while learning new speaking skills!

Guests are welcome to come.  Your presence helps prepare the members for the next round of contests.

The person may draw a quote or the Table Topics Master may read the quote and assign it to a person.  Each person is then asked:

1^st and 3^rd Tuesday of the month,

6:30 pm to 7:45 pm,

(Networking from 6:15 pm to 6:30 pm, meeting starts promptly at 6:30.)

If you ever attend a Toastmasters meeting, there is typically a person who IS Toastmaster for the meeting.  This person is the Master of Ceremonies charged with running a smooth and interesting meeting.  Part of their responsibility is to come up with a meeting theme.

Now everybody has a little writers block every now and then.  To help you out… here is a compiled list of possible themes starting with ‘X, Y & Z’, sorted alphabetically!
