The Summit Toastmasters club is hosting the District 26 International speech contest winner, Rich Hopkins, on August 2, 2011 at its regularly scheduled meeting at Frisco Town Hall, 6:30 pm.
Hopkins, of Broomfield, will present the inspirational speech he plans on delivering at the Toastmasters International competition to be held at the end of August in Las Vegas. Hopkins will represent Colorado, Wyoming, and Western Nebraska in the Toastmasters International Speech Competition that culminates in the World Championship of Public Speaking with nine of the best speakers from around the world.
Hopkins is a speaker, author, and presentation coach. Over the last 10 years, Hopkins has finished in the top 100 speakers in Toastmasters International seven times, including earning a ‘third in the world’ ranking in 2006. He has published two e-books – Win, Place, & Show and Go Ahead and Laugh.
Summit Toastmasters meets the first and third Tuesday of the month and is open to guests. There is no charge to attend this meeting and guests are encouraged to attend.
